PCB to Organize All Matches of India in Champions Trophy 2025 in Lahore
India is unlikely to travel to Pakistan for the Champions Trophy 2025.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is making a concerted effort to ensure India’s participation in the upcoming 2025 Champions Trophy, set to be hosted by Pakistan.
Given the long-standing political tensions that have limited bilateral cricket series between the two nations, the PCB has proposed a unique solution: hosting all of India’s matches in a single city – most likely Lahore.
This proposal comes amid speculation that India might not travel to Pakistan for the tournament due to security concerns.
The PCB has previously rejected the idea of a “hybrid model” where India’s matches would be played at a neutral venue, insisting on hosting the entire event within Pakistan.
In an attempt to address potential logistical challenges and minimize travel requirements for the Indian team, the PCB has suggested organising all their matches in Lahore. This would eliminate the need for the team to travel across different cities within Pakistan.
However, the key question remains: will India accept this proposal and participate in the Champions Trophy on Pakistani soil? As of now, the chances seem slim, with no official confirmation from the Indian cricket authorities.
