IPL 2024: Parth Jindal Issues Clarification On His Animated Reaction on Sanju Samson’s Dismissal

The co-owner of Delhi Capitals, Parth Jindal, has issued a clarification regarding his animated reaction during the recent IPL 2024 match between Rajasthan Royals and Delhi Capitals, held at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi.

Delhi Capitals, put in to bat first, managed to post 221 runs on the board. However, at some point, it was looking like Rajasthan Royals would chase it down, especially with their captain Sanju Samson looking in great touch. But Mukesh Kumar got the better of him as Sanju Samson gave his catch to Shai Hope, who was stationed at long-on.

However, the dismissal was controversial as many believed that Shai Hope’s foot was touching the boundary rope. The third umpire did not watch the replay enough times and also did not check different angles to come to a conclusion and adjudged him out.

While all this was going on, Sanju Samson was also seen having an argument with the on-field umpire, and at this time, the camera focused on Delhi Capitals co-owner Parth Jindal, who was shouting furiously. The video of this incident went viral on social media.

However, Parth Jindal, in a recent post, issued a clarification that his reaction was only due to frustration because Sanju Samson was batting very well, and it was nothing against him. He also congratulated him for his selection in the T20 World Cup 2024.
