Dinesh Karthik, who started his IPL career with the Delhi Daredevils in 2008, has been a mainstay in the tournament. He has donned the jerseys of six different franchises over the years, even leading the Kolkata Knight Riders to the playoffs in 2018.

Known for his aggressive batting style, Dinesh Karthik has amassed 4842 runs in 257 IPL matches at an average of 26.32 and a strike rate of 135.36.

Later on in his career, Karthik successfully reinvented himself as a finisher, playing a crucial role in RCB’s success during the 2022 and 2024 seasons. However, his final outing wasn’t a fairytale ending, as he could only manage 11 runs before RCB bowed out of the competition.
