The rumours regarding Jasprit Bumrah’s wedding has become the talk of the town. The cricketer has been linked up with a few famous female icons, with Twitterati guessing the name of his to-be-bride. Meanwhile, some reports are suggesting that the Indian fast bowler was dating cricket Anchor Sanjana Ganesan and is going to marry her soon.

The news portal claimed that sources revealed that Jasprit Bumrah and Sanjana Ganesan will get married on March 14-15 in Goa. The report also states that the preparations for the wedding are complete, and that it will be attended by very few people owing to the Coronavirus pandemic.

First, it was being speculated that Bumrah is going in wedlock with Anupama Parameswaran but few days ago Anupuma’s mother has clearly denied any of those rumours. In a recent interview, her mother has completely rubbished the claims that her daughter was going to get married to Bumrah. There have been several reports before which have linked up the two youngsters.

After the interview of Anupama’s mother, it seems social media’s guess about Ganesan could just turn out to be true. The buzz over Bumrah’s wedding started when he requested for leave citing personal reasons from the Indian Test squad for the fourth and final Test against England in Ahmedabad. BCCI went ahead to make it official that the bowler had asked for a leave due to some personal reasons. A few days later, social media speculations started to reveal that he had taken a break to prepare for his wedding which will happen in Goa, later this month.

Who is Sanjana Ganesan?

Sanjana Ganesan is a Mumbai-based media personality, model, and former software engineer. She works as a sports presenter and reporter on Star Sports channel and has hosted shows on IPL, badminton, etc. for the sports broadcaster. The 28-year-old has also been hosting the weekly show for the IPL franchise Kolkata Knight Riders titled ‘Knights Club’.

Sanjana is a Miss India 2014 finalist and the Maharashtra girl also participated in the MTV show Splitsvilla 7 before starting her career as a sports anchor and presenter. She is a gold medalist from the Symbiosis Institute of Technology, Pune. She was one of the finalists in “Femina Miss India Pune”
