Azam Khan performed poorly both with the bat and as a wicketkeeper in the recent T20 series against England.
Pakistan’s wicket-keeper batter Azam Khan has been the subject of trolling and criticism following a string of poor performances in international cricket, most recently against England.
In the fourth and final T20 match against England, Azam Khan was dismissed for a five-ball duck. He was undone by a spectacular short ball delivery from Mark Wood, a delivery which he could have ducked had he been more agile.
Azam Khan has gained considerable weight in the last few years, leading to increased criticism about his fitness. Many former Pakistan cricketers have even called for his exclusion from the T20 World Cup squad for 2024.
Amidst the ongoing criticism and trolling, another video of Azam Khan has resurfaced on social media. In this video, while practising in the nets, he attempts a scoop shot but falls heavily to the ground, seemingly unable to manage his weight.
