Azam Khan Spotted Eating Burger On Street After Pakistan’s Defeat to India; Video Goes Viral
Azam Khan was dropped from Pakistan’s playing XI against India.
Pakistan’s wicket-keeper batter, Azam Khan, was spotted enjoying a roadside burger in New York following Pakistan’s narrow six-run defeat against India on Sunday, June 9th.
Azam Khan had been dropped from Pakistan’s starting lineup due to a series of poor performances. Imad Wasim replaced him in the match against India.
Before being dropped, Azam Khan had consecutive ducks and his fitness also came under scrutiny, leading to relentless trolling.
Former Pakistani cricketers and experts also criticized his fitness, urging management to take decisive action.
Reports suggested that Azam Khan fell into depression due to the trolling and subsequently deleted all his Instagram posts.
However, his decision to eat a burger after Pakistan’s defeat against India doesn’t convey a positive message either.
In the match, Pakistan won the toss and elected to field first, bowling India out to just 119 runs. Despite initially appearing to chase down the target, they fell short, managing only 113 runs in reply.
Pakistan’s T20 World Cup record against India has been dismal, with just one win in eight meetings, and seven losses.
