Pakistan Fan Sells Tractor to Attend India vs Pakistan T20 World Cup 2024
Pakistan fan sold his tractor to watch the India-Pakistan clash in T20 World Cup 2024.

A Pakistan cricket fan’s unwavering passion for the game became a viral story after he revealed that he was selling his tractor for $3,000 to attend the high-octane clash between India and Pakistan in the T20 World Cup 2024, which took place on June 9.
The unnamed fan, attending the match at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York, revealed he sold his tractor for a staggering $3,000 to secure his ticket.
However, his dream of celebrating a Pakistan team’s win was dashed as India emerged victorious in a nail-biting low-scoring encounter. Chasing a modest target of 120 runs, Pakistan collapsed in the death overs.
Naseem Shah’s late flourish, including two boundaries off Arshdeep Singh in the final over, proved insufficient as the Men in Green fell 6 runs short of the target.
The fan, understandably disappointed with Pakistan’s performance, particularly Mohammad Rizwan’s dismissal after a slow knock of 31 runs, expressed his feelings to ANI.
There was an unexpected twist, however. The same Pakistan fan was spotted in the stands during India’s match against the USA on Wednesday. This time, he was seen celebrating India’s thumping 7-wicket victory.
“Surya has won my heart today,” he remarked, adding with a touch of humour, “Tractor ke paise India ne vasool karva diye (India got my money’s worth).”
