‘200 Years And Still Can’t Get Over Divide & Rule’: Twitter Lashes Out At Michael Vaughan For His Distasteful Comment

Twitterati in India looked completely frustrated by former English skipper Michael Vaughan after he came up with another distasteful Tweet against India. The India National Cricket Team, on Thursday, beat England by eight runs in the fourth T20I at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad to keep the series alive. The five-match series will now be decided by the fifth and final game on Saturday (March 20).

Suryakumar Yadav was the show stealer as he scored a quickfire fifty to lay the foundation for India’s competitive total of 185 for 8 in their 20 overs. England had their chances in the game but the Indian bowlers kept picking wickets at regular intervals to ensure India’s emphatic win.

Suryakumar scored 57 off 31 balls with the help of 6 fours and 3 sixes. There was also a notable contribution from Rishabh Pant who scored 30 but not in his usual aggressive manner as he took 23 balls for the same.

Former English skipper Michael Vaughan has been behind the Indian team ever since the tour began and he has had to face the wrath of the Indian cricketing fraternity on multiple occasions throughout the tour so far. Wasim Jaffer has also trolled him for his inappropriate behavior on social media.

Ever since the white-ball series began, Michael Vaughan has been discussing and talking more and more about Mumbai Indians’players in the Indian team, which is not going well with some of the netizens and former Indian cricketers.

Now, Vaughan has taken another sarcastic dig at the Indian team after the latter beat the English side by 8 runs in the fourth T20I.
