After losing an early wicket in the very first over, Usman Khan took charge and changed the game’s momentum. He smashed 13 fours and 6 sixes during his knock, reaching his century in just 48 balls. His brilliant innings helped the Kings dominate the opposition bowlers, as he partnered with Graham Clark for a 120-run stand that set the tone for a massive score.

Although Usman got out after scoring 123 off 62 balls, his knock ensured that the team ended with a commanding total of 219 for 5 in their 20 overs. His innings was filled with powerful shots and clever placement, leaving the Rajshahi bowlers helpless.

A Record-Breaking Performance

Usman’s century not only earned him personal accolades but also put Chittagong Kings in a strong position in the tournament. The 219-run total is the highest score in the BPL 2025 so far.

Rajshahi’s bowling attack struggled to contain the run flow, with their bowlers conceding runs at an alarming rate. While Taskin Ahmed was the most economical, picking up 2 wickets for just 22 runs, the rest of the bowlers were taken to task by Usman and his teammates.
