BPL’s Biggest Win Ever! Fortune Barishal Break All Records in a Stunning Victory

Fortune Barishal made history in the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) by achieving the biggest victory in terms of balls remaining. They defeated Dhaka Capitals with 81 balls left on January 29, breaking all previous records in the tournament’s history.

Playing at Mirpur, Fortune Barishal bowled out Dhaka Capitals for just 73 runs. Their bowlers dominated, with Tanvir Islam, Mohammad Nabi, and Faheem Ashraf picking up three wickets each. The small target made the chase an easy task for Barishal.

Tamim Iqbal and Towhid Hridoy started well, and after Hridoy got out, Dawid Malan finished the game quickly. Barishal chased the target in just 6.3 overs, winning the match with 81 balls to spare. This is now the biggest victory by balls remaining in BPL history.

Before this, the biggest win was by Dhaka Dynamites, who chased a target with 73 balls left in 2017. Rangpur Riders had also won with 72 balls remaining in 2016. However, Fortune Barishal has now set a new benchmark with their dominant performance.
