Indian captain Rohit Sharma lost his temper at young pacer Harshit Rana during the second ODI against England at the Barabati Stadium in Cuttack on Sunday, February 9.
The incident took place in the 32nd over of England’s innings when Rana’s unnecessary throw gifted four extra runs to the opposition.
Harshit Rana bowled a good-length delivery at 138 kmph, which Buttler defended back towards him. Instead of holding onto the ball, Rana picked it up and threw it at the stumps even though Buttler was safely inside the crease.
The ball missed the target and raced to the boundary, giving England four extra runs. Rohit Sharma was clearly unhappy with this reckless throw. He was seen scolding Rana on the field, and the moment was captured on camera.
