Delhi Capitals Women secured a thumping six-wicket win over Gujarat Giants Women in the 10th match of the Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2025 at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium on Tuesday, February 25.
With this victory, Delhi Capitals climbed to the top of the points table, while Gujarat Giants remained at the bottom.
Batting first, Gujarat Giants struggled against Delhi’s disciplined bowling attack and could only manage 127/9 in 20 overs.
The top order collapsed early, with skipper Ashleigh Gardner (3), Phoebe Litchfield (0), and Harleen Deol (5) failing to provide a strong start.
Bharti Fulmali (40* off 29) played a crucial knock to help Gujarat post a respectable total. Marizanne Kapp and Shikha Pandey led Delhi’s bowling attack, taking two wickets each.
