New Zealand pacer Matt Henry created history in the India vs New Zealand Champions Trophy 2025 match at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Sunday, March 2. He became the first bowler in the world to take a five-wicket haul against India in Champions Trophy history.
Henry finished with impressive figures of 5 for 42 in 8 overs, helping New Zealand restrict India to 249/9 in 50 overs.

The Kiwi pacer started his spell by dismissing Shubman Gill (2) in the third over, trapping him in front of the stumps. He then removed Virat Kohli (11) in the seventh over, cutting short Kohli’s innings in his 300th ODI for India.
