This win ensured that Mumbai Indians finished second on the points table, missing out on a direct entry to the final. They will now have to play Gujarat Giants in the eliminator.
Batting first, RCB posted a strong total of 199/3 in 20 overs. Captain Smriti Mandhana led from the front, scoring 53 off 37 balls, while Ellyse Perry remained unbeaten on 49. Richa Ghosh (36 off 22) and Georgia Wareham (31 off 10) provided a strong finish.
