Virat Kohli has revealed that he might spend more time traveling after retiring from cricket but is unsure about his exact plans.

Virat Kohli has shared his thoughts on what he might do after retiring from cricket. The legendary batter hinted that he could focus more on traveling once his playing days are over.

“I actually don’t know what I will be doing post-retirement. Recently, I asked a teammate the same question and got the same reply. Yeah, but maybe a lot of travelling,” Kohli told PTI.

Virat Kohli’s T20I Retirement

Virat Kohli announced his retirement from T20I cricket after helping India win the T20 World Cup 2024. India defeated South Africa in the final at Barbados to lift the trophy. His contribution to the team’s success was immense.

Not just the T20 World Cup, Kohli also played a major role in India’s Champions Trophy victory. India won the tournament after a long wait of 12 years.

Speaking to Star Sports, Kohli talked about the importance of experience, self-belief, and resilience in winning big tournaments.

“Winning four ICC titles is truly a blessing, and I consider myself very lucky to have played for so long and achieved this,” he said.

Virat Kohli’s Performance & Future Plans

Kohli was one of the top performers in the Champions Trophy. He scored 218 runs in five matches and finished as the fifth-highest run-scorer in the tournament.

Meanwhile, he has now rejoined the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) camp ahead of IPL 2025. The new season will begin on March 22, and RCB will face Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the opening match. Kohli will be a key player for RCB as they aim for their first IPL trophy.
