India Head Coach Gautam Gambhir Receives Death Threat from ‘ISIS Kashmir’
Gautam Gambhir has received a death threat from the Kashmir-based terrorist group ISIS Kashmir.

Gautam Gambhir, the head coach of the Indian cricket team, has received a death threat from the Kashmir-based terrorist group ISIS Kashmir. Following the incident, he filed an FIR with Delhi Police on Wednesday, raising serious concerns over the safety of his family.
Gambhir, who is also a former BJP Member of Parliament, took immediate action after receiving the threat via email. According to reports, the email came with a chilling message: “IKillU”—a direct and disturbing threat that has now triggered a police investigation.
The incident happened on April 22. Gambhir received two emails, both carrying the same threatening message. On the next day, he approached the Rajinder Nagar Police Station and submitted a formal complaint. The matter has been escalated to the DCP of Central Delhi for further action.
As per ANI, the Delhi Police have begun the investigation, taking the case seriously due to the background of the threatening group and Gambhir’s public stature.
Earlier this week, Gambhir had strongly condemned the brutal terror attack in Pahalgam, Kashmir, which claimed 26 lives. The attack targeted tourists in the scenic Baisaran meadow, leaving the nation shaken.
On social media, Gambhir wrote:
“Praying for the families of the deceased. Those responsible for this will pay. India will strike.”
Gambhir is known for speaking up against terrorism and always taking a strong stance in support of the armed forces and the nation. His sharp reaction to the Pahalgam incident had drawn praise from many, but it may have also drawn attention from anti-national groups.
The authorities are expected to act quickly and ensure full security to Gambhir and his family. The investigation is underway, and more updates are expected soon.
