Former India fast bowler Ajit Agarkar and former England veteran spinner Graeme Swann have revealed their top 4 teams that could make it to the playoffs of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020. They have given up hopes of Chennai and Punjab reaching the playoffs.

Agarkar believes that Mumbai Indians (MI), Delhi Capitals (DC) and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) are the three teams that will qualify for the playoffs. While the tussle for the fourth place will be between Rajasthan Royals and SunRisers Hyderabad.

He said that a tough competition could be seen between Rajasthan Royals and Sunrisers Hyderabad for the fourth position. He said that both these teams are looking better than CSK at the moment.

Speaking on Star Sports show ‘Cricket Connected’, Agarkar said:

“It’s such a close tournament, so many ups, and downs, but clearly Mumbai Indians & Delhi Capitals look like the two best teams – form-wise and personnel-wise. KKR, in my opinion, got a real bonus win against CSK. They are my third team. The fourth team for me is between Rajasthan Royals and Sunrisers Hyderabad. I had CSK at the start of the tournament, but at the moment, these two teams look slightly better than what CSK is playing.”

Graeme Swann, on the other hand, feels that Rajasthan Royals (RR) and SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) will be able to make it to the final four.

“I’m definitely going with Sunrisers Hyderabad cause Jonny Bairstow not only looks dapper with his ginger hair and the orange shirt, amazing, it shouldn’t go, but it does, but he’s also smashing it.”

“And my fourth team is going more with my heart than my head, Rajasthan Royals, Tewatia hit5 sixes off that over and I fell for the Rajasthan Royals. They’ve lost all 3 games, they cannot get any worse. Ben Stokes is coming back. They are going to qualify,” he added.

SunRisers Hyderabad has won 3 matches out of the 8 they played and are sitting on Number 5 in the points table. On the other hand, Rajasthan Royals is at number 7 with 3 wins in 7 matches.
