Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) defeated Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) by 8 wickets in the 31st match of the 13th season of IPL. Punjab won the match after 5 consecutive defeats. The team is still at the bottom of the points table after winning 2 out of 8 matches. Punjab has won both matches against RCB. In the previous match, Punjab defeated Bengaluru by 97 runs. This is the biggest win so far this season. Playing the first match of the season, Chris Gayle scored 53 runs off 45 balls. He hit 5 sixes and a four.
