KL Rahul is the highest scorer from team India after he smashed 84 runs in the first innings of the first Test.
Team India is currently playing their first match of the 5-Match test series against England in Nottingham, which is also the first assignment for both sides in the second edition of the World Test Championship.
Meanwhile, something happened on the day 3 of the match which has now become the talk of the town. Ollie Robinson, who was earlier banned and fined by ECB after his old tweets resurfaced on internet, shared some heated words with KL Rahul on Friday.
KL Rahul was looking in fine rhythm and was heading up with 58 runs in his kitty while being supported by Rishabh Pant from the other side. Rahul, firstly flicked Robinson to the leg side and the pacer went on to exchange some heated words.
However, it wasn’t the end of the story as Robinson went on to barge shoulders with Rahul. Before this incident, even the legendary pacer James Anderson shared some words with the umpire after KL Rahul denied to bat in the rain.

India kicked off day one of the Test on a brilliant note as Indian pacers bundled England out for just 183 runs. In turn, Indian openers KL Rahul and Rohit Sharma gave a perfect start to the team before the latter departed for 36. After Sharma’s dismissal, wickets kept falling from the other side and KL Rahul stayed in the middle and eventually got dismissed by Anderson for 84 runs.
At the time of writing, Ravindra Jadeja and Mohammed Shami are there in the middle and setting the base for team India, having taken a lead of 35 runs.
