“Throw It Back On Their Awful Faces” – Twitterati Reacts As Drunk England Fans Hit KL Rahul With Champagne Corks in 2nd Test
Champagne bottle corks thrown at KL Rahul by unruly England spectators at Lord's.
An utterly shameful and disgusting act was witnessed on the third day of the England vs India Test where England spectators were seen throwing champagne bottle corks at the Indian opener KL Rahul.
The incident happened in the 68th over of England’s first inning when KL Rahul was fielding near the boundary rope and the crowd at the Lord’s started throwing champagne bottle corks at Rahul.
However, later the Indian captain took the matter in his hands and asked (gestured) the opener to throw the corks out of the ground.
