Ajaz Patel Scripts History, Becomes Third Bowler To Take 10 Wickets In An Innings In India vs New Zealand Test

New Zealand spinner Ajaz Patel, on Saturday scripted his name in the history books as he become only the third player to register 10 wickets in a single innings of a Test match after Jim Laker and Anil Kumble.
Ajaz dismissed Mohammed Siraj to complete a perfect 10-wicket haul on Day 2 of the Wankhede Test and equaled Jim Laker and Anil Kumble.
Laker claimed figures of 10 for 53 in 1956 against Australia at Old Trafford in Manchester whereas former Indian spinner and legend Anil Kumble took just 26.3 overs to take 10 wickets for 74 runs against Pakistan in New Delhi.
Playing in India for the first time, the 33-year had finished with four wickets (Shubman Gill, Cheteshwar Pujara, Virat Kohli, and Shreyas Iyer) on the first Day of the Test and continued from where he left in the morning session of Day 2 and completed his 10-wicket-haul by sending back Wridhhiman Saha, R Ashwin, Mayank Agarwal, Axar Patel, Jayant Yadav and Mohammed Siraj on Saturday.
