Chennai Super Kings Denies Delhi Capitals Trading Offers For Ravindra Jadeja: Report

There are speculations that Ravindra Jadeja might leave Chennai Super Kings this year.

The Indian Premier League (IPL 2023) is likely to kick off in the month of March 2023 and the mini-auction is scheduled to take place in the mid-December, according to a report in Cricbuzz. 

Plethora of players are likely to go under hammer once again while the trade window will allow some players to be a part of a different franchise in the 16th edition of the Indian Premier League.

The report further stated that a couple of teams have contacted the Chennai Super Kings for trading the ace all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja. Delhi Capitals is one of the two teams that made the request for trading Jadeja. 

However, Chennai Super Kings have cleared that they have no intention of letting go of their former captain. Apart from Jadeja, there are a couple of other players for whom franchises have received trade requests. 

As per reports of Cricbuzz, the 2021 IPL champions, Gujarat Titans (GT) received trading requests for spinner R Sai Kishore and all-rounder Rahul Tewatia. The Titans, however, declined the offers and the duo will stay with Hardik Pandya-led side in the upcoming season as well.
