IPL 2023 Retentions: Mumbai Indians (MI) Release Kieron Pollard Ahead of Mini-Auction
Mumbai Indians has decided to release long-serving Kieron Pollard ahead of IPL 2023 mini-auction.
The most successful franchise of the Indian Premier League, Mumbai Indians had a dreadful outing in IPL 2022 as they became the first team to be knocked out of the tournament, having managed to win just four matches.
As Mumbai Indians have always been known for backing their players, however, this is the time when they have to let off some of their big names ahead of the IPL mini-auction 2023, set to take place in December.
According to a report in Inside sport, the five-time champions Mumbai Indian have decided to release their long-serving all-rounder Kieron Pollard, along with English pacer Tymal Mills, Fabian Allen, and Mayank Markande.
The IPL 2023 mini-auction is slated to take place on December 23 in Kochi. The BCCI had earlier asked all ten franchises to submit the list of their retained and released players by November 15.
