Punjab Kings, as usual, did plenty of chopping and changing ahead of the IPL 2023 auction. They sacked their former captain Mayank Agarwal as captain and handed over the reins to the senior Indian batter Shikhar Dhawan.
Not just this, the 2014 finalists also released Mayank Agarwal ahead of the IPL 2023 auction. Apart from the Karnataka batter, the Preity Zinta and Ness Wadia co-owned franchise also released the likes of Sandeep Sharma, Vaibhav Arora, and Odean Smith.
