With this hundred and half-century, Australian batsman Steve Smith has surpassed Jacques Kallis, Virat Kohli, Sachin Tendulkar, Ricky Potting, Allan Border, Alastair Cook and Kumar Sangakkara to achieve a special feat.

Steve Smith scored 131 in the first innings of the Sydney Test and 81 runs in the second innings. Considered one of the world’s greatest all-rounders, South Africa’s Jacques Kallis has achieved this feat 9 times, while Cook, who has scored the most Test runs for England, has scored a century and a half-century in the same match 8 times.

Only Australian batting legend Sir Donald Bradman achieved the feat faster than Smith as he scored 27 Test centuries in just 70 innings.
