India captain Rohit Sharma became the sixth-highest run-scorer for India in One-day internationals on Sunday, December 4.
The Mumbai batter surpassed Mohammad Azharuddin, who had scored 9378 runs in 308 ODI innings to claim the sixth spot.
Rohit Sharma now has 9403 runs in 227 ODI innings. He scored 27 runs from 31 balls against Bangladesh in the ongoing first ODI of India’s tour of Bangladesh, 2022 to achieve this feat.
The legendary Indian batter Sachin Tendulkar tops this list with 18,426 runs while Virat Kohli stands second in the tally with 12,353 runs in 254 innings.
Former Indian captain Sourav Ganguly occupies the third spot with 11,121 runs in 297 ODI innings while Rahul Dravid is fourth in the tally with 10768 runs.
