IND vs BAN: List of Records Broken by Ishan Kishan as he Scores Double Century Against Bangladesh

Ishan Kishan creates history as he smashed the fastest double century in just 126 balls.

Ishan Kishan, on Saturday, December 10, created history as he became the fourth Indian batter to score a double hundred in ODIs.

The wicket-keeper batter clobbered the Bangladesh bowlers all around the park and broke a string of records on his way to a double century.

Ishan Kishan scored 210 runs from 131 deliveries and broke the record of the highest individual score by a batter in ODIs in Bangladesh.

Earlier, Shane Watson held this record with his unbeaten 113-ball 185, which he scored back in April 2011 in Mirpur.

The left-handed batter also went past Virat Kohli’s record of the highest individual score by an Indian batter in an ODI in Bangladesh.

Earlier, in the 2012 Asia Cup, former Indian captain Virat Kohli smashed 183 against Pakistan in Mirpur.

Fastest 150 by an Indian in ODIs:

Ishan Kishan raced to his century in just 85 deliveries and then took 18 more balls to reach the 150-run mark, which is the highest by any Indian batter in the One-Day internationals.

Earlier, Virender Sehwag held this record after he scored 150 from just 112 balls against West Indies in 2011.

Fastest Double Hundred in ODIs:

Team India opener Ishan Kishan has smashed the fastest double hundred in ODI cricket, taking just 126 balls to go past 200.

He broke the record that was earlier held by legendary West Indies batter Chris Gayle. Back in 2014, Gayle scored a 138-ball double-century against Zimbabwe.

Ishan Kishan made a mockery of Bangladesh’s bowling attack as he scored 210 runs off 131 balls with the help of 24 fours and 10 sixes. In the end, it was Taskin Ahmed who got rid of the big man to give Bangladesh a sigh of relief.
