The runner-up of the IPL 2022 season, Rajasthan Royals retained their core during the retention and headed into the auction with a purse of INR 13.2 Crore. They had nine slots to fill with four reserved for overseas players. They made some smart calls during the auction and roped in some star T20 players in the squad.
