IPL 2023: MS Dhoni Completes 4500 Runs for CSK, Joins Suresh Raina in Elite List

The captain of Chennai Super Kings (CSK) MS Dhoni added another feather to his cap as he smashed yet another record during the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 match against Delhi Capitals at MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chepauk on Wednesday, May 10.

Batting at No.8, MS Dhoni played a blazing knock of 20 runs off nine balls, and with this he completed 4,500 runs for Chennai Super Kings. This made him the second player from the team to achieve this feat, after Suresh Raina.

It took Dhoni 216 matches to achieve this milestone, while his former Chennai Super Kings teammate Suresh Raina reached 4,687 runs in just 176 matches in the cash-rich league, making him one of the most successful batters for CSK in the league’s history.
