IND vs ENG 1st Test Day 2: Watch Jasprit Bumrah’s Toe-Crushing Yorker to Ben Stokes

Jasprit Bumrah unleashed a toe-crushing yorker to Ben Stokes in the opening session of Day 2 in the first Test between India and England in Chennai.

The much anticipated India vs England 1st Test got underway on Friday at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. It is the first-ever Test in home conditions for pace sensation Jasprit Bumrah. The right-arm had appeared in 17 Tests before entering the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on Friday.

Ahead of the series, fans were stoked to witness the contests between some of the best in the business. One of the most awaited clashes was the tussle between Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah and England all-rounder Ben Stokes who are best at what they do.

Bumrah claimed two wickets on the opening day when he dismissed Dan Lawrence (0) and Dom Sibley (87).

The Ahmedabad-lad began the second day with a high note and bowled a pretty economical spell. During the 92nd over of England innings, Bumrah almost castled Ben Stokes’ stumps with a toe-crushing yorker.

It was simply the third over of the second day, and Stokes was enjoying on nought. Bumrah got here around the wicket and utterly stunned the English all-rounder. Nonetheless, Stokes was fortunate that he survived the inch-perfect yorker.

Meanwhile, after finishing Day 1 on a high with their scoreboard reading 263/3, England kicked off the proceeding on Day 2 on a similar note. At the time of publishing this article, England’s scoreboard read 454-4 with Joe Root batting on 209 and Ollie Pope batting on 24.

The Indian bowlers have looked hopeless against England’s determined batting and they will hope for some kind of miracle to restrict England below 500. On the other hand, England batters will look to score big as batting here on Day 4 and 5 of the match will be extremely difficult.
