Asia Cup 2023: Injury Concerns Hit Pakistan as Naseem Shah’s Participation Against India Becomes Doubtful
Naseem Shah strained his right shoulder in a match against Bangladesh

Pakistan pace sensation Naseem Shah slipped near the boundary rope and had to leave the field during Wednesday’s Asia Cup 2023 Super 4 match against Bangladesh at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium.
It all happened in the seventh over of Bangladesh’s innings, when Naseem Shah sprinted from the fine leg position and slid near the boundary line in an attempt to prevent the ball from reaching the boundary.
However, he immediately found himself lying on his stomach, seemingly having strained his right shoulder. After a brief break, he got back on his feet but eventually left the field for additional medical attention.
Naseem bowled three overs and picked a wicket while conceding 22 runs before leaving the field. Earlier, Bangladesh won the toss and decided to bat first against Pakistan in the first Super 4 match during the ongoing Asia Cup 2023.
