Indian captain Rohit Sharma completed 300 sixes in One-Day Internationals (ODIs) during the World Cup match against Pakistan at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Saturday, October 14.

With this feat, Rohit Sharma now holds the record for being the first Indian to hit 300 or more ODI sixes in international cricket history and is also the quickest batter overall to achieve this milestone.

Rohit completed his 300th six with a mesmerising six against Haris Rauf. It all happened in the 8.5th over when Rauf delivered a ball just outside off-stump, the Mumbai batter, showcasing his batting prowess, executing a lofted cover drive that cleared the boundary.

Shahid Afridi, the legendary all-rounder from Pakistan, holds the top position in the list of 351 sixes. Chris Gayle, the West Indies batting sensation, follows closely with 331 sixes, while Rohit Sharma is currently third on this list, with 300 sixes and counting.

Rohit Sharma looked in scintillating touch from the moment he started the run-chase against Pakistan, putting the Pakistan bowlers to the sword. He scored 86 runs from 63 balls with the help of six boundaries and as many towering sixes.
