Shaheen Afridi was the leading wicket taker for Pakistan in World Cup 2023.
After an underwhelming World Cup 2023 in India, the Pakistan cricket team returned home on Monday, November 13. The Men in Green could only manage to win four games out of the nine matches and fell short of securing a spot in the semifinals.
Meanwhile, the brother of Pakistan’s pacer, Shahid Afridi, Shan Afridi, has shared a video of his brother returning to Pakistan, in which Shaheen can be seen smiling. He captioned the video:

However, fans aren’t happy with the video and caption. Shaheen Afridi, expected to be the pace attack leader, didn’t live up to the hype throughout the tournament. Despite being the top wicket-taker for Pakistan with 18 wickets in nine matches, his economy rate soared around 6, conceding over 450 runs.
