[Watch] ‘Sudhar Jao Yaar’ – Mohammed Shami Warns Pakistan Cricketers About Spreading Lies

There has been a conspiracy theory circulating in Pakistan that the ICC provided different balls to Indian pacers in the 2023 World Cup.

India’s veteran fast bowler Mohammed Shami has lashed out at former Pakistan cricketers for spreading a conspiracy theory about India cheating in the ICC ODI World Cup 2023.

There was a circulating conspiracy theory, especially in Pakistan, that the reason behind India’s ODI World Cup 2023 success was some special treatment with a different set of cricket balls.

Hasan Raza, the ex-Pakistani cricketer, added spice to the gossip with a controversial comment on Pakistani TV. Here’s what Raza had said:

“We are seeing that when they are batting, they bat really well and suddenly the ball starts doing things when India bowl. There have been 7-8 close DRS calls that have gone in their favour.”

“The way Siraj and Shami were swinging the ball, it seemed like the ICC or the BCCI were giving them different and suspicious balls in the second innings. There needs to be an inspection done on the ball. There could also be an extra layer of coating on the ball for swing.”

Responding strongly, Mohammed Shami slammed former Pakistan cricketers for spreading lies. He also added that Pakistan players tend to have an overly confident attitude, thinking they are the best, but for Shami, it’s about being the best when it matters.
