IND vs ENG: KL Rahul and Ravindra Jadeja To Return for 3rd Test Against England

KL Rahul and Ravindra Jadeja have missed the second Test in Vizag.

Team India will receive a massive boost ahead of their third test as KL Rahul and Ravindra Jadeja are set to return to the team for the third test, which is set to be played in Rajkot.

KL Rahul and Ravindra Jadeja were the top performers for India in the opening test. While KL Rahul scored 86 runs, Ravindra Jadeja scored 87 runs and also picked up five wickets.

Nonetheless, both were deemed unfit for the 2nd Test due to injuries. KL Rahul suffered a quad strain, while Jadeja was sidelined by a hamstring injury. Later, they were both directed to the National Cricket Academy (NCA) for recovery.

According to reports, there is a high expectation for KL Rahul and Ravindra Jadeja to rejoin the squad for the IND vs ENG 3rd Test in Rajkot. If not both, at least one of them is likely to participate in the forthcoming match against England.

Meanwhile, India vs England 3rd Test is set to be played on Thursday, February 15 at Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Rajkot. The IND vs ENG Test series is currently tied 1-1 after two games.
