Meanwhile, Babar Azam, the former captain of Pakistan, has been spotted intensively training before the grand tournament. Notably, he serves as the captain for Peshawar Zalmi in the Pakistan Super League.
Babar Azam recently returned from Bangladesh after representing the Rangpur Riders, where he left a lasting impression with his stellar batting performance. He amassed 251 runs in 6 matches at a strike rate of 114.61.
Peshawar Zalmi will kick off its PSL 2024 campaign against Quetta Gladiators on Sunday, February 18th at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore.
