PSL 2024: Babar Azam Breaks Virat Kohli’s Record, Becomes Fastest to Score 10,000 T20 Runs
Babar Azam has completed 10,000 runs in T20s.
Former Pakistan captain Babar Azam has added another feather to his elusiv cap during Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2024 season as he became the sixth batter to complete 10,000 runs in T20s and at the same time, has also become the fastest to reach the milestone.
Before Babar Azam, Chris Gayle held the top spot, achieving this landmark in 285 innings. The West Indies batting giant paved the way as the first player to cross the 10,000-run mark in the shortest format of the game, achieving this feat in 2017.

Babar Azam achieved this milestone in only 271 innings, surpassing the likes of Virat Kohli, David Warner, Aaron Finch, and Jos Buttler, in addition to Chris Gayle, to claim the top spot.
Furthermore, Babar Azam has secured the title of the youngest batter to reach the 10,000-run landmark. He achieved this milestone during the PSL 2024 game against Karachi Kings, taking place at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore.
