PSL 2024: Mohammad Rizwan Names the Best Finisher in the World Currently
Mohammad Rizwan called Iftikhar Ahmed the best finisher in the world currently.

The skipper of Multan Sultans, Mohamed Rizwan, has showered praise on Iftikhar Ahmed, labelling him as the ‘best finisher in the cricketing world’.
Rizwan’s endorsement follows Ahmed’s standout display in clinching victory for Multan Sultans over Lahore Qalandars, the defending champions, in the latest Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2024 fixture.
Here’s what Mohammad Rizwan said on Iftikhar Ahmed:
“Iftikhar is one of the top finishers in the world in my opinion.”
The middle-order powerhouse, instrumental in fueling the Ifti-Mania phenomenon with his breathtaking finishes, concluded unbeaten on 34 runs from only 11 deliveries, securing victory with an over in hand.
Iftikhar stepped in after Mohammad Rizwan’s departure for a blazing 82 off 59 balls, with 39 runs required off 21 deliveries.
Waste no time, he dispatched the first two balls he faced, both from Shaheen Shah Afridi, for boundaries. After a six from David Willey, who fell lbw, Iftikhar was left to face the penultimate over.
Only 24 runs away from victory, the game was on a knife-edge, but suddenly, it was curtains. First, a cheeky edge raced past third man for four, then a bit of sloppy fielding allowed a shot down the ground to find the boundary.
After that, two monster sixes on the leg side, capped off with a classy shot behind square on the off-side to seal the deal for Multan Sultans.
