‘She’s My Good Luck’ – Babar Azam Dedicates His PSL 2024 Century to His Mother

Babar Azam dedicated his century to his mother.

The former Pakistan captain, Babar Azam revealed that his mother was ecstatic witnessing him smash a century in Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2024.

Babar Azam’s unbeaten 111 off just 63 balls saw Peshawar Zalmi cruising to 8-run win over Islamabad United.

Notably, it was the first time Babar Azam’s mother saw him batting live from the stadium.

“She came for the first time (talking about his mom). Very happy. She always watches from home. Good luck for me that she came and I scored a hundred. This is my best one,” Azam said at the post-match press conference.

Azam kicked things off cautiously, as he tends to do, but stepped up the tempo post his fifty. He went all out against Hunain Shah, brother of Naseem Shah, in the 18th over of the first innings, hammering him for 23 runs.

Babar Azan hit four fours in that over along with a six and a single and continued his onslaught till the last over ending with an unbeaten knock of 111 off 63 balls. His knock was braced with 14 boundaries and two sixes.
