Rishabh Pant Declared Fit to Play IPL 2024
Rishabh Pant will be seen in action for Delhi Capitals in IPL 2024.
Delhi Capitals captain Rishabh Pant is all set to make his return to the field as he has got the match-ready fitness certificate from the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru ahead of the IPL 2024 season.
Pant missed last year’s games as he was recovering from the severe injuries that he sustained in a car accident in 2022. Now, the fit Rishabh Pant is set to join the team for practice in Vizag after doing some promotional work.
Fans are excited to see him back after his recovery. In the last season, David Warner served as a stand-in captain in the absence of Rishabh Pant. They finished the tournament at the ninth position in the points table.
Earlier, the head coach of Delhi Capitals, Ricky Ponting, has hinted that Pant might lead the team again this year. Delhi Capitals will open their IPL 2024 campaign with a clash against Punjab Kings (PBKS) in Mohali on March 23.
