Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) shattered the record for the highest total in the Indian Premier League (IPL) as they posted 277/3 in the allocated 20 overs against Mumbai Indians at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad on Wednesday.
SRH’s batting trio of Travis Head, Abhishek Sharma, and Heinrich Klaasen stole the show with magnificent fifties, guiding their team past Royal Challengers Bengaluru’s (RCB) previous IPL record total of 263, which they scored against the now-defunct Pune Warriors India in 2013.
