The Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) mentor, Gautam Gambhir, and former Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) captain, Virat Kohli, shared a touching moment during the KKR vs RCB match at M Chinnaswamy stadium, hugging each other and exchanging handshakes.
So, after all the drama last year with Gautam Gambhir, mentoring Lucknow Super Giants, and that fight between him and Virat Kohli during LSG versus RCB, everyone was gearing up for round two, but nope, didn’t go down like that.
It all happened during the drinks break in the first innings while the Royal Challengers Bengaluru were batting. Gautam Gambhir stepped onto the field to instruct his players and encountered Virat Kohli, shaking hands with him and sharing a hug.
Before that, Kolkata Knight Riders‘ skipper, Shreyas Iyer, won the toss and elected to field. Royal Challengers Bengaluru batted first, setting a target of 182 runs, losing six wickets, led by Virat Kohli, who top-scored with 83 runs off 59 balls.
