IPL 2024 – Match 13, DC vs CSK: Prithvi Shaw to Open for DC? Delhi Capital Probable Playing 11 vs Chennai Super Kings
We can expect slight changes in DC's playing 11 after two consecutive defeats
Delhi Capitals (DC) to face Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in match number 13 of IPL 2024 at the ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium, Visakhapatnam on the 31st Match, Sunday.
Delhi Capitals have lost both the matches they played so far, the first match to PBKS and the second match to RR. On the other hand, CSK won both of their first matches against RCB and against GT, both of these games were played at Chepauk.
Kumar Kushagra likely to Replace Ricky Bhui:
Ricky Bhui who was preferred by DC ahead of the likes of Yash Dhull and Kumar Kushagra is likely to be dropped for the latter.
DC may also consider picking Prithvi Shaw back as an opener with Mitchell Marsh moving back to number 3.
Tristan Stubbs Impressed:
Stubbs scored 44 runs off 23 balls in the previous match and looked comfortable against the spinners too.
With Harry Brooks opting out Tristan Stubbs has got an opportunity to play for Delhi, he has got the role of finishing the innings for DC.
Mitchell Marsh needs to convert his Starts:
Delhi Capitals are opening with David Warner and Mitchell Marsh this season, Marsh has replaced Shaw in the opening department. So far Marsh has looked good in both the matches but he has failed to convert his starts into a big score.
DC will consistently need big innings from one of Warner or Marsh.
