Mayank Yadav impressed everyone on his debut against PBKS by consistently bowling deliveries above 150 kmph. Mayank won the Player of the Match award for LSG with his figures of 3 for 27 in 4 overs.

Yash Thakur who played the first match and was part of the XI last year too will have to wait for his chance now as Mayank has sealed his spot in the XI.

Deepak Hooda Could Replace Ayush Badoni:

Deepak Hooda who came in as an impact player for LSG in the first match and had scored 26 off 13 balls might get his place back in the XI, replacing Ayush Badoni.

Ayush Badoni has got backing from the LSG management but with him failing for two consecutive matches now, It will be interesting to see if he gets another opportunity or not.

Devdutt Padikkal’s Form is a Concern for LSG:

Devdutt Padikkal who was traded from RR to LSG hasn’t found his form for LSG, Devdutt’s performance in IPL has been on a decline since the year 2022.

LSG will be hoping for better results from their number 3 batter or they may think about opening with him and Rahul moving to 3 or 4 number.

Probable XI of LSG vs RCB:

Quinton de Kock (wk), KL Rahul, Devdutt Padikkal, Ayush Badoni, Nicholas Pooran (C), Marcus Stoinis, Krunal Pandya, Ravi Bishnoi, Mohsin Khan, Manimaran Siddharth, Mayank Yadav.
