Ishant Sharma unleashed an astounding yorker that left Andre Russell on the floor in the IPL 2024 clash between Delhi Capitals and Kolkata Knight Riders this Wednesday.
During the last over of the KKR innings, the Delhi Capitals pacer delivered a devastating ball that shattered the stumps ruthlessly, leaving Russell flat on the ground.
The video of the dismissal has already gone viral on social media and during his way back to the dugout, Russell was even spotted applauding the delivery.
However, the effort was not enough as KKR ended up scoring a mammoth 272/7 in 20 overs against Delhi Capitals, which is the second highest total in the history of IPL.
Andre Russell scored 41 runs from 19 balls with the help of four boundaries and three sixes. Apart from him, it was another West Indian, Sunil Narine who stole the limelight, having hammered 85 runs from just 39 balls.
As for the match, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) beat Delhi Capitals (DC) by 106 runs to register their third consecutive win in the ongoing IPL 2024 season.
