Match 19 of IPL 2024 is to be played between Rajasthan Royals (RR) and Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium on 6th April, Saturday.

Rajasthan Royals have won 3 out of 3 matches so far and RCB has won just 1 match out of their 4 matches so far, their only win came against PBKS.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru won their previous match against MI it was a complete domination by the RR team with Boult picking up 3 wickets and Riyan scoring a 50 in the run chase of 126 runs.

Sandeep Sharma Expected to Make a Return

Sandeep who has been RR’s one of the best bowlers since the last season missed the previous match against MI due to an injury.

With Sandeep’s return, Burger could go out and he might come in as an impact substitute.

Jos Buttler’s Form Raises Concerns for RR

Buttler’s form has been a concern for RR, in the three innings so far he has scored just 35 runs, not only is his form but his intent is also questionable, Buttler is not trying much to hit the ball in the powerplay.

Butter’s opening partner Jaiswal has also not hit big runs yet, but his intent has been impressive as always.

Ravichandran Ashwin’s All-Round Contribution Boosting Team Performance

RR in their last two matches sent Ashwin at 5 and that has worked well for the team, Ashwin was already contributing with the ball but now his contribution with the bat has been crucial for the team.

Shimron Hetmyer hasn’t got enough chances to bat for RR this year especially with Ashwin coming at 5. Hetmyer will be tempted to contribute whenever he gets a chance.
