The players of the Pakistan cricket team are currently undergoing military training. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is providing them with this training to ensure they attain complete fitness for the upcoming T20 World Cup 2024, slated to take place in the USA and West Indies.

However, the videos surfacing are making the Pakistan team a subject of ridicule. Another video has gone viral on social media, showing them carrying stones up the mountains, and netizens are finding it hard to believe that the players are training in this hard manner before the World Cup.

Pakistan Cricket Team’s Soldier-like Training Regimen

Currently, Pakistan players are seen without cricket equipment, instead carrying large stones while trekking through mountainous terrain.

It will be interesting to see the impact of this ‘unconventional training’ on the performance of the Pakistan cricket team in the upcoming biennial tournament.

Prior to this, another video of the Pakistan team undergoing military training had gone viral, showing players climbing ropes. That video also sparked a lot of mockery towards the team.

Notably, the Men in Green are placed in Group A for the T20 World Cup, alongside India. The much-anticipated India-Pakistan clash is scheduled to take place on June 9th.
