Rohit Sharma Names Two ‘Unhygienic Teammates’ He’d Never Share a Room With

Rohit Sharma named two players he’d never share a room with due to hygiene.

In a rib-tickling moment with comedian Kapil Sharma, Indian captain Rohit Sharma spilt the tea on which two teammates he would avoid rooming with. Rohit and Shreyas Iyer swung by Netflix’s The Great Indian Kapil Show for a casual chat with the host.

During their light-hearted conversation, Rohit jokingly said that he would never share a room with skipper Shikhar Dhawan and Rishabh Pant, playfully labelling them as untidy. Rohit has had firsthand experience sharing the Indian team’s locker room with both Dhawan and Pant.

Here’s what Rohit Sharma said in The Kapil Sharma Show:

“Everyone gets a single room nowadays. But if I get a chance to share a single room, there are two people with whom I wouldn’t want to share rooms with – Shikhar Dhawan and Rishabh Pant. Bade gande hai (They are very messy). After practice, they just toss their clothes on the bed,” said Rohit.

“Their room is always on DND because they sleep till 1PM. The housekeeping staff that comes in the morning to clean their rooms, so it’s important for them to put their rooms on DND. Otherwise, they will barge in. That’s why their rooms often stay messy for three to four days. It becomes a problem for the people staying around them. So, I don’t think I will be able to stay with them,” Rohit added.
