Ravindra Jadeja Completes 100 Catches in IPL

Ravindra Jadeja has completed 100 catches in IPL history.

Ravindra Jadeja reached a milestone of 100 catches in his Indian Premier League (IPL) as Mustafizur Rahman, the pacer for Chennai Super Kings (CSK), sent off Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) skipper Shreyas Iyer in the 20th over of their match at the MA Chidambaram Stadium on Monday.

Mustafizur Rahman cleverly varied his grip on the ball, inducing Shreyas Iyer to mistime a big shot towards the leg side. Jadeja is considered one of the finest fielders in the run towards the boundary to complete the catch and achieve the milestone at Chepauk.

Most Catches By Fielders In IPL History

  • 110 – Virat Kohli
  • 109 – Suresh Raina
  • 103 – Kieron Pollard
  • 100 – Rohit Sharma
  • 100 – Ravindra Jadeja

Adding another feather to his cap, Ravindra Jadeja has scripted history by becoming the maiden player to secure more than 100 wickets and complete 100 catches in the IPL’s extensive legacy.

CSK asserted their dominance from the outset, restricting KKR to 137 for nine in the first innings. Tushar Deshpande and Ravindra Jadeja shone with the ball, each claiming three wickets, while Mustafizur Rahman chipped in with two wickets.
