IPL 2024: ‘Masala Toh Khatam Ho Gaya’ – Virat Kohli Mocks Fans Waiting for His Fight With Gautam Gambhir During RCB vs KKR Clash

The Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) stalwart Virat Kohli has broken his silence on the memorable hug shared with Gautam Gambhir during the IPL 2024, suggesting a potential reconciliation after years of rivalry.

The long-standing tension between Kohli and Gambhir came to an end as the KKR mentor shared a hug with the former RCB skipper recently. Kohli believes fans might be disappointed that they didn’t get the ‘masala’ they were expecting.

“Log bohot disappoint ho gaye hain mere behaviour se. Naveen ke saath maine jhappi daal li, uss din Gauti bhai ne aake mereko jhappi daal di. To Matlab tumhara masala khatam ho gaya to ab ooooh kar rahe ho. Abe bache thodi na hai yaar,” Kohli joked with the fans present at an event for Puma.

[Translation: People are very disappointed by my behaviour. I hugged Naveen, then Gauti bhai hugged me the other day. That means the masala is over for you guys. We are not kids anymore]
